The MUSIC DEPARTMENT at Holy Cross is run by Mr Adolf Thelen.
He teaches music appreciation Grade 4 to Grade 7 and conducts the Senior Choir and the congregational singing. He is also in charge of the audio-visual equipment and the computer lab at the school.

THE NEW SCHOOL SONG "Holy Cross is our Salvation" was developed in 2021 by a task team in Cape Town. This new composition replaces the old School Anthem "The Holy Cross My Own".
